The National Cyber Security Conclave 1.0, a groundbreaking event in cybersecurity, was successfully conducted at NIT Calicut on the 7th and 8th of February 2025. This prestigious conclave was jointly organized by the Centre for Information Technology Research and Automation (CITRA) of NIT Calicut, the Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-IN), the Calicut Innovation and Technology Initiative (CITI 2.0), and the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC).

The fourth batch of the Short Term Training Programme for Officers of Kerala Police on “Cyber Defence Simulation for Incident Response”, organized by CITRA ,CSED and CCESD has commenced from 9th December 2024. The course will be concluding on 19th December 2024. Thirty Police Officers from various districts of Kerala attended this two weeks Training Programme sponsored by Kerala Police.

Organized a short term course on Classroom to Boardroom along with the1995 batch of B.Tech CSE of NIT Calicut. The duration of the course was four months from 13th January 2024 to 24th April 2024. Thirty students of NITC have completed the course and some of them got internships in ID fresh Food Products Pvt.Ltd.
