A two-day workshop on Creative Economy was conducted on 17 Apr 2026 and 18 Apr 2026 with the objective of exploring the growing opportunities in the global creator economy and designing an academic framework aligned with industry needs. The workshop brought together academicians, industry experts, and participants to collaboratively develop a roadmap for a new academic program.It is Organised by the Centre for Information Technology Research and Automation (CITRA). Our resource persons are Ajay Vidyasagar, Regional Director, Asia Pacific Region-Google Inc.; Mahesh Bhalerao, Regional Director of Partnerships, YouTube Europe; Rajesh Tahil, Former Publisher of Mid-Day, Creative Director for Channel [V] at Star TV., Founder, Hill Road Media and Audiomatic; Sumesh Lal, Founder & CEO, Wonderwall Media Network, Former Head of Content, Kappa TV; Balu Ramamurthy, CEO & Founder, Desynova; and Ajith Kaliyath, Urban Chair Professor, Kerala institute of Local Administration.
