Automate all activities of the Institute including academic, research and co-curricular with smart IT enabled services.
Plan and propose state of the art IT infrastructure for the Institute.
Establish a research lab on Network Security and Wireless Analysis.
Execute funded R&D projects in the area of Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Offer internship programs for NITC students for developing IT enabled services for the campus (Earn while you Learn).
CoE AI - NITC envisions the project as a special-purpose vehicle for creating a positive impact on the lives of our citizens in the context of sustainable cities. In Phase I of the AI Centres of Excellence Initiative, CoE AI - NITC is working on multiple projects under Sustainable Applications for Mobility, Urban Development, and Resilience using Artificial intelligence (SAMUDRA) along with our consortium partners.
The project outcomes include developing AI-based solutions that improve disaster preparedness through optimal monitoring of structural health, optimize traffic flow, facilitate intelligent parking and enhance the security of citizens.
